3 Months - Annalee Style!

Hello everyone!  I'm 3 months old today!

Today I giggled for the very first time.  Well, I think I giggled about a month ago but Momma says I just grunted - today I really laughed!

My brother has been showing me all sorts of toys and is being good about playing on his own if Mommy is busy with me for a moment.

I'm growing!  This week I started wearing 6 month clothes and a size 2 diaper.

I'm getting more curious about things around me and don't want to miss any action!

I haven't been sleeping all through the night because I wake up early in the morning all stuffed up.  I usually go back to sleep upright in my chair because I am too stuffy to lay back down on my back.  Momma thinks that my little nose is just still growing and eventually I will sleep better!

My brother is sometimes a little rough, sometimes helpful...

...and always his cute sailor self.

"Get this thing off my face!"

I love to talk to people around me, especially my Daddy when he comes home from work!

See you in a month!

Lots of Love,
Annalee

Baby Bro Will GRADUATES!

My baby and my baby!

Hopefully this isn't embarrassing to Will, but since I loved to play "mom" as his older sis when he was a baby, there are so many things that remind me of him as I care for my own babies!  I think no matter how old or how tall (how much taller than me!) he gets, I will still hold lots of memories of him as a teeny little thing. :)

Well, he graduated from high school.  The last person in my family to graduate from our school for what seems like decades (generations, at least)!

Receiving his diploma!

Annalee, Laura and I flew up just for the occasion.  Baby girl did well on the flight (even though Laura was carrying both of our bags and I was carrying her while we were sent to the wrong gate and barely made our connection!).  She was so good during graduation and even napped a little bit.  We walked around the War Memorial until the names called were closer to the "T's".  Little did I know that there is a wall listing all the men from Syracuse who served in WWI and WWII - so we found Grandpa's name and his brother a well.

The graduates!  Tossing their caps!

Uncle Don, Uncle Mike, and Dan

Yay we found him!

Sydney and Will

Proud parents.

Siblings!

We're all so proud of you, Will!

We went out for a great dinner together and came home for some cookie cake and ice cream cake because...

The next day was also Will's 18th birthday!

We also got to spend a little time with Jonathan's side of the family while we were home!  It was Grandaddy's first time meeting Annalee (his first great-granddaughter!).

With Nana and Grandpa!

So sweet.

ANNNNNNNND Lauren and Chris were in town for the weekend too!!!  We didn't get to see Summer (she was napping), but hopefully in July the girlies can meet.  I love this pic...time for another baby, guys! ;)

Hanging out with Uncle Dan before he headed home.

Cousin Carly came over for a quick visit too!  Annalee met a lot of family and friends in about 48 hours.

We also happened to be home for our neighborhood block party!  There are lots of young families on our street now, and all of the kids were making father's day ties for the dads...so Mom and I made one for Dad, too!

My parents' neighbors have adorable twin babies that we got to play with for a while!  I believe Dad is holding Amelia and Mom is holding Olivia...but someone correct me if I'm wrong!

What a weekend.  We didn't sleep much but Laura and I both set our alarms for 4AM so we could make it to our 5:50 flight.  Well, sometime around 1:30 Annalee woke up and was all congested (I imagine from flying, changing weather/allergens, etc.) and could not get back to sleep on her back.  So I propped myself up on pillows and let her sleep upright on my shoulder (not the best, but sometimes you just have to make something work).  Meanwhile, my phone (alarm!) fell between the two beds and I heard it bust open, but there was nothing I could really do and I figured Laura's would go off across the hall anyway.  Well, suddenly Mom was in my room saying, "It's 4:40, it's 4:40!"  Who even knows what woke her up, but Dad, Laura and I (+Annalee) were all still sleeping.  We busted a move and got over to the airport, walked in, swiped our cards, and the kiosks told us, "it is too late to check in for this flight."  WHAT?!  Apparently, 30 minutes before the plane is scheduled to take off, the computer no longer lets you check in.  It was 29 minutes before, and there was practically no one in the airport...we could've made it to our gate and onto the plane no problem!  Sigh.  So we were put on a later flight (without a charge, thankfully) and the one plus was that our layover was in my favorite airport...

Detroit!

Really, I feel pretty neutral about most airports, but I just have a great love for that light-up, music playing tunnel!  We didn't even NEED to go through it since we landed in C terminal and departed from B terminal, but we made the journey to the A terminal so Laura could get some Starbucks!

You may have wondered, what did Jonathan and Connor do all weekend???

BOYS WEEKEND! :)

Home sweet home!
Look at these sweet pink shoes...Annalee has tiny feet (really, she's doomed, lots of small feet in this family!) but I was finally able to tie these on!

Back in action with my little "cheese" man!

Summery Smiles, Flying Footballs, and Wedding Sprinkles

I was walking today with the kiddos and Otto when I saw one of my favorite people..."Running Football Guy".  We saw this delightful character one of the first times I walked with Connor in our new neighborhood.  I was coming up to a "t" in the road when I saw a football go whizzing forward.  A guy came running full speed behind it and I thought, "Wow!  Guess he was going long!"  He proceeded to pick it up, hug it to his chest, and continue to run...in the same direction.  Much to my surprise, a little ways down the road, he wound up and sent it spiraling down the road again!  Hahaha.  It took all my strength not to laugh out loud.  Maybe it's his motivation - chasing a football might be easier than just jogging along!  We've seen him no less that 5 times since then and I always giggle to myself while watching out for the football flying by!

Little boy with some of his favorite toys!

Daddy and his girl.

Showing off a full belly :)

Thumbs up!

My little photographer.  He hasn't actually figured out how to take a picture on my phone, but he loves to try!

Two weekends ago, Jonathan and I had the privilege of singing in a wedding for some sweet friends!  It was the first wedding we had been to inside of our church and it was beautiful!

Preacher Mike giving instructions!

Kirstyn and Johnny singing a great duet.

Beautiful bride Amber with baby girl.
Her smile lasted all through her wedding!

Kirstyn and Connor on the dance floor!

We had our pictures taken in the photobooth - hilarious.  Hard to see (took a picture of the pictures hanging on our fridge), but so fun!  CONGRATS AMBER and DYLAN! :)

Still not loving tummy time -
working on lifting higher and getting stronger!

Getting more curious and intrigued by things every day.

Got to host a 31 party for with my friend Farrah - she's an awesome consultant!  Katie spent some time snuggling with Annalee during the party, and Jonathan ended up putting both babies to bed - go Daddy!

Happy 21 months to my sweet boy! 1 3/4 years old (AHHHH!) :)
