This morning Jonathan was doing a little breakfast cooking and I got a little flustered because he wasn't making what I thought he was going to. Connor and I started working on a puzzle in the living room and Jonathan called to Connor, "Con, tell Mommy that it is all going to work out!" Connor said, "Mommy, lean down to me so I can talk quiet in your ear!"
-I leaned down-
Connor (whispers): "Mommy, it's all going to work out!"
Daddy: "Con, tell Mommy that Daddy is going to make it delicious!"
Connor (whispers): "Mommy, Daddy is going to make it delicious!"
Daddy: "Con, tell Mommy, 'You are beautiful!'"
Connor (whispers): "Mommy, I AM BEAUTIFUL!"
I was practically in tears laughing, which made Connor break into giggles and when I repeated the (whispered) declaration to Jonathan, we were all just rolling. Then Connor tells me, "Mommy, I told you everything so quiet in your EAR!" Yeah....no clue why we were in hysterics. Love his 3.5 year old brain - wish I could write down everything he says!
