Summer Visits and Cutest Horned Frogs

We got to see Lauren, Chris, and Summer at the end of October!  I love seeing Connor and Summer play, now that they aren't "babies" so much and actually want to do some things together!

A little chilly t-ball...Summer's first time!

Look at that form. :)  Connor's hat was crocheted by Tammy Trush...isn't it awesome?  You can check out her designs on the "Cozy Crochet NC" page on facebook!

Sharing!

On Halloween we managed to get over to the library for storytime.  Daddy met us for a few minutes before the storytime began!

Um, yes!  Horned frogs love to shake!

Trying to make sure a little purple rubbed off on our Longhorn friend. :)

People didn't recognize Jonathan like this?  Craziness.  We enjoyed trunk or treat and Connor got piles of candy.  Most of which he was allergic to...but I don't think he really understands what candy is anyway, so it didn't bother him that I had sorted and put it all away by the next morning!

It was about 9pm when we got home (choir rehearsal BEFORE Trunk or Treat!) and I realized I hadn't gotten a pic of them together...drat.

Cutest "Superfrogs" I have ever seen in my life!  Yes, we also plan to wear these on any cold game days!

Fall Fancies

Our new (to us!) dining room set, all dressed up for fall.  Thankful for Jonathan's grandparents and that they would hand this down to us!

Also our new (to us) piano, thanks to Jonathan's mom!  Annalee's first "Annalee" decoration on top...sweet little jack-o-lantern!

Yeah.  I don't think I had tons of toys out and about when Connor was 7 months old, but this girl has plenty to get her hands (and mouth) on!

Connor having a lazy pajama morning, practicing his Christmas carols (if you want to sound good by Christmas, you have to start early!).

"Mommy!  Stuck!  Mommy!  Stuck!"  Ah...the joys of the non-nap.  At least I got to laugh (just a little bit) about this one before I helped him out!

On that note, I LOVE all of the new words I hear Connor saying each day.  Here's an example of a regular occurrence at our house:
Connor, "Doobie, doot doot doooo!"
Me, "What?"
Connor, (more emphatically), "Doobie, DOOT DOOT DOOOO!"
Me, "What?  What song are you trying to sing honey?"
Connor, "TUPPET sowwwwnd."
Duh mom. Trumpet sounds.  What was I thinking? :)

We had a chili night and did some pumpkin carving with friends.

There were power tools involved...

Ta Da!

Here are ours!  I'm SURE you know who these two guys are!

Great night with friends!

Pumpkins Times Two!

We got to go to two pumpkin farms this year!  We almost went to a third but it was surprisingly chilly/windy (around when Sandy came through) and we canceled our plans.  When I told Connor plans had changed, he held his hands out in front of him (like, "What?!") and said, "The FAHM?!  THE FAAAAHM?!"  Hahahaha...wish I had it on video.  He has LOVED hanging out at the farms this fall!

Levi and Connor picking out pumpkins.

Riding the tractor with Sarah Rae

It was a nice long tractor ride.  A dog ran alongside the whole time.  "Hi doggy, hi doggy!"

Annalee was in the front carrier.  This was the best pic I could do!  She loved the farms too. :)

Learning about milking a cow!

Piglets. "Hi babies, hi babies!  Oink Oink Oink."

Having a good conversation with the cow.

We got to have lunch with our friends afterwards (thank you to the restaurant that made Connor a cheese-less pizza!) and then Connor was so tired...out like a light.

Later that week we met Laura at the farm we visited last year - a sweet tradition and a first for Annalee!

Yeah...the sun was in his eyes...

Almost having fun on the giant chicken...

Almost.

Cutest pilgrims around.

Huggin' the giant cow.  Those udders are something else.

Everyone aboard the bus!  Annalee enjoying a bottle in the back.

Connor wanted to drive the combine.  And never get off.

So we joined him!

A few tears later, we got him to climb down and join us for the tractor ride out to pick our pumpkins!

Ready to go with Aunt Laura!

The boys.

The girls.

Cutest pumpkins ever.

Sweet!

Enough sitting with the pumpkins!

Thankful to have our pumpkins through Thanksgiving!

Bringing a Little Cuse Home

How can you resist a chilly weather stroll with a cuddly bear like this??

Very first time swinging on the swings with big brother.

Annalee likes to be sitting up as much as possible...

Handsome guys in their SU jerseys.

Annalee getting in on the fan action!

FOOTBALL BOW!  I just may have made this for my little southern belle. :)
