Last night was one of the greatest nights ever. Phil has completed his treatments and is gearing up for surgery next Thursday. The whole choir is praying (without ceasing!) but some brilliant altos came up with a great idea about a month ago - to go "caroling" at Phil and Koral's and just lift him up with a time of praise and singing. We loaded up some buses (and Koral made sure to shut the blinds a little early) with songsheets in hand and voices ready. Incredibly, Phil had no idea we were coming!
