Ohhhhhh Sugar Sugar!

If you've never heard the delightfully Southern expression, "Gimme some sugar!" you may not want to go running to your pantry.  Usually this would refer to a smooch from a baby or small child...although I'm sure it's been used by many "big kids" as well!

Our friend Tammy crocheted her first ever snow hat (toboggan for you Southerners?) and lucky for us, her son suggested that she give her practice one to Connor!  How cute is this?!  Whose PRACTICE anything comes out this good?!  I'm amazed...thanks Tammy!

We finally gave in and had our furry doggy groomed (Thanks Kelly!)...he came home with a Sesame Street bandana, all of the characters were in costume!  Though he does not look thrilled, I assure you, we certainly were!

Little boy and I made a VERY quick last-minute trip up to VA and spent a little time baking to prepare.

My attempt at some Halloween meringues.  Pastry bag?  No.  Ziplock with a hole cut in it?  Yes!

Grandma's sugar cookies - just not for Christmas!  Connor helped me with the cut outs...pumpkins, ghosties, and albino bats (I did not feel like making black frosting!).  Since that poor baby can't have the frosting, we found some sprinkles at Walmart, which he carried very excitedly through the whole store and all the way home!

Not to say that he didn't try to get one though...that table used to be too tall for his reaching fingers!

Finished meringues, arriving in Lynchburg!

Mmm..late night snack!

Connor, Kelly, and Baby Reagan, due any day now!

Mr. Cool watching Sesame Street clips while we
ate a quick dinner before the drive back home!

SIL's. 35 1/2 weeks and 17 1/2 weeks. :)
