Christmas Day 2011

Christmas morning was spent with just the three of us, a sweet time together but very different than our "normal" holidays!  Connor saw his present from Marmie and Papa right away and hopped in...then had a mini-meltdown each time we tried to coax him out to "continue on" with our morning!

Even presents that were handed to him were thrown back out the window...ha!  He probably knew that it was mostly "just clothes"...

When we finally transferred him to the highchair for breakfast, Jonathan rolled the car into the hallway, out of sight, so that we could make it through the morning without permanent attachment!
A scaled-down Christmas breakfast tradition!

Then we got to check out a few new things!

A little something to sing along with...

and some popsicle holders to make our own fruit treats with!

We were blessed to be able to go to church and sing during the Christmas day service, and then one of our awesome choir guys drove to the airport so that we could get up to NY in time for Christmas dinner!
Walking around the airport with Daddy.

A little pre-flight snack!

Thankfully, we made it on time (even early!) and my mom and dad prepared dinner a little later than usual.  Connor napped for ZERO minutes on the flight and it was pretty exhausting.  At least Jonathan and I were both there, next to each other, and could transfer him from lap to lap.  It's a little daunting to think about the next time we might fly...with two!

Look, TCU friends!  Connor's Papa found him a horned frog puppet! :)

Peekaboo with Marmie.

Our Christmas fun was stretched out for quite a while...so fun!  More to come!
