Hello lovies! Connor here. I wanted to tell you all that on Saturday, I turned ONE-HALF YEAR OLD! 6 months! Can you believe it? I know, I can hardly stand it...
The morning of my half-birthday, we got to go to a kite festival! Auntie Laura's favorite animal is the penguin, so of course we picked the kite with penguins.
Mommy and Daddy also brought the kite that they flew on their honeymoon. Daddy had repaired the broken part, but the new dowel only lasted a few minutes before snapping. Time to find something stronger!

Momma and I took a fire engine ride. There were some wild boys next to us. The siren was loud and surprised me at first, but then it was a fun bumpy ride all around the kites!
Engine Number 9? Something tells me there's a song about that...

When we were on our way back home, we saw at least 8 turtles out sunning. Momma keeps trying to get good pictures of them, but they hop into the water as soon as she gets close with Otto and me! She caught these two before they hopped in. Look at all of the petals in the water from the trees!
Auntie Laura snuck up on this particularly defiant one. We think it must be the one Daddy saved from being run over just before I was born.
Later that afternoon, Dad put my bumbo seat up ON THE TABLE! I did not know what was going on. Momma kept saying, "Spooooooon! Yummmyyyyyyyyy." Who knows what that's all about. Apparently I had some sort of cereal but it mostly tasted like milk to me!
Dad, I can sit up just fine by myself! Just because I was lunging for the spoon doesn't mean you should hold me back! :)

Sending lots of love to my far away family and friends! I'll check in with you all at month 7.
Aunt Lola getting the kite going!
I was having fun!
Can you see all the kites in the air?
We let Otto come too. I told Mom she better let him be in at least one picture. :)
Go Lola go Lola go!
The penguins flying as high as they could go!
Oooooooooooooh, bubbles!
Gimme that!
Mmmm!
Orrrrrr, maybe not.
On Sunday we cheered for SU, who Mom had winning on her NCAA tournament bracket (apparently she ALWAYS does!). Well, they lost. Sigh. I was dressed and ready! I guess it's time to get out my Yankees gear.
Here's what I think about the card, Momma!
Momma and Lola think I look like
Uncle Dan in this picture!
Ooh, camera!
Sunday night was our children's musical at church. There were so many fun lights and colors, and they did awesome singing!
Fishies swimming!
The amazing dock my Daddy built!
GIANT JELLYFISH and a WHALE!
I can't wait til I get to be in the musical!
Today we saw my sweet doctor. I was a STAR at my appointment and looking healthy (Mom and Dad say, "Thank God!").
Here are my 6 month big boy stats:
Length: 27 inches (75th %)
Weight: 18lbs. 10ozs. (75th %)
Head Circumference: 43cm (50th %)
My doctor and Momma were talking about FOOD. Sounds like something good may be coming up!
Love,
Connor
