Wedding day arrived amidst the flurry of preparations, a quick fun late night boat ride after the rehearsal for bachelor and bachelorette shindigs, and last minute beautifying all around! The boys and girls did not see each other all day so that the bride and groom could see each other as she walked down the aisle. I took some "before" pictures, my mom and dad took a lot of the "during" pictures, and I caught a few more during the reception. Soon enough I think their awesome photographers will have some up (currently there are some hilarious photobooth pics up on facebook!) if you are left with something to desire here...
Little boy had many people who helped take care of him on wedding day. He got to meet our Michigan cousin Kristin who was one of the awesome bridesmaids!

Each of Sarahann and Jay's immediate family members carried a rose down the aisle and placed them on a table. There was a white rose in each family bunch which they later placed together in a vase to represent their union. A great way to show this at an outdoor wedding!

Beautiful view of the river throughout the ceremony. The weather was perfect (Thank You God!) and there were boats driving by honking and taking pictures...so fun!

while we were taking pictures right before the wedding and Aunt Lisa
ran them out to my fam...hahaha...apparently he gobbled them down!
There is a post office on the island which everyone walked or took golf carts to
for hors d'oeuvres. The newlyweds rode over in Grandaddy's boat -
The Royal Lady.
The sun was setting, the food was delicious, it was great!

Only a few reception photos...everything was lit up beautifully with strands of
Christmas lights in trees and around the tent (I know a few guys who worked
really hard on this!). Flickering candles adorned all of the tables and their lemon flavored/decorated cake and cupcakes perfectly completed the
yellow and purple theme.
Sadly C needed to go to sleep before the dancing began, and sleep he did...
through the band, 150 people outside his window, and fireworks! We kept the
monitor out at the tent and checked on him periodically...
it worked out really well.
The band was wonderful and Grandaddy tickled the ivories for a couple
of tunes...we all love when he plays and he has a great jazz style.
