Syracuse Summer Adventures

Connor's Aunt Laura offered to let him be her roomie while we were in Syracuse...probably Laura's best roomie EVER!  She liked it when he was like this...
...but early in the mornings, he would stand up and call, "Loooo-ra!   Looooo-ra!" until she opened her eyes.  Then he would belly flop back down into the pack and play and squeeze his eyes shut, pretend snoring.

Jonathan and I celebrated our 4th Anniversary first out to dinner with his parents and grandfather, and then by going out to the Dino BBQ with my mom, Laura, and the kiddos.  They were good though, and Connor really liked the food and the blues music!

Karina and Peter stopped by while Jonathan was still in town and got to meet Annalee.  Karina is having a baby this fall and the gender is a SURPRISE - so excited for them!

Silly boy played a LOT with the kitchen set that Marmee had saved from when we were little and scrubbed all of the pieces for it!

Puppet show for sis!

My parents' neighbors hooked us up with everything baby related and Annalee played to her heart's content.  Thanks, Stefanie and Dave!

It did not cool down pretty much the entire time we were up there.  I was totally wrong in thinking that we were escaping the high temps!  Anne let us come hang out with her at their pool one day - thanks Anne!

"Cool?"  Connor, loving the water as always!

Watch out, Marmee!  What a jumper (or stepper?).

Outside as much as possible, with anything we could find in the garage.

Of course, what trip to Syracuse would be complete without the zoo???  Last time we went, Connor was not even 1 and these tiger cubs were just born, so we only saw them on video feed.  I guess they've all grown! ;)

"Wow!"

They used to really give elephant rides... but this was good enough for Connor!

Oh yes, Annalee had her very first zoo trip, too.  She was just mainly in the front carrier with me!  Checking out the lions...

"Helping" Sis play.

All dressed up for church, totally conked out!

Trying to pull an "Uncle Dan"...
Shove an entire Ritz cracker in your mouth!

Over at Nana and Grandpa's, trying out the exersaucer for the 1st time!

Oh look!  Aunt SAS and Uncle Jay came to visit!

Lots of giggles :)

Could we fit in any more?  Oh yes...at least one more post's worth...
